We are always looking for the right person to join our clinical team!
As a therapist at Pivotal Counseling Center, you can start off part-time or jump into full-time work right away. You would join the team as an employee, not an independent contractor. Full-time employees are required to see 20 or 25+ clients per week and we will work with you to create a schedule that works for both of us. If you like to work 5 days a week, that is great! If you want to work 3 days a week, that is great!
Clinical Benefits
- Weekly peer consultation facilitated by the Clinical Director or Director.
- Monthly staff meetings to connect as a team, take care of business, and bring in outside experts and service providers to learn from.
- Clinical supervision is provided to all staff during their first 90 days of employment and as needed afterward. Provisionally licensed therapists will receive weekly clinical supervision until they receive their independent license.
- Therapists are given an annual CEU stipend of $200-$400 depending on how many hours they work.
- Each year we bring in a training for the whole team and provide the CEUs for the therapist.
- After 12 months of employment, you may request additional training dollars towards an advanced training of interest to you such as EMDR, Brain Spotting, DBT, Emotionally-Focused Couples Therapy, The Gottman Method, or something similar. The goal is for our therapists to be well-trained in a modality they feel aligned with and Pivotal Counseling Center wants to help you along the way.

Internships & Practicums
Pivotal Counseling Center accepts applicants for internships or practicums throughout the year. You must be enrolled in a Masters or Doctoral program in counseling, clinical psychology, or social work and can be supervised by a fully licensed masters level clinician (LCPC).
