It is better to grow old with a sense of humor than with no sense at all.I don’t know who said that, but I heartily agree. In fact, any age works better with a sense of humor. My son, who tends to be a worrywart, called me today in hysterics because his doctor has referred him to a spinal surgeon. He may have to have a spinal fusion. In his mind, this will result in being permanently disabled, requiring a service dog to pick up items he drops on the floor and a motorized wheelchair, preferably red.
