Making the decision to enter into therapy may seem a bit scary and overwhelming, but my goal for you is to feel safe and encouraged so that we can work together to face any thoughts, feelings, or behaviors that could be holding you back. As your therapist, I am here to help you work through and understand the emotional difficulties that you currently face, while helping you create an environment you are able to understand, recognize, and feel safety and comfort within. I have several years of experience working with children and families within the welfare systems, along with working in a multidisciplinary medical setting. My approach to therapy is modern, while taking into account where you are at, where you have been, and where you want to be.

I have a passion for working with teenagers and young adults who are willing to work in exploring and uncovering the life’s roadblocks that are sitting in their way to their true self. Whether that may be stress, adjustments to new life situations, anxieties, feelings of hopelessness, or just even needing help to find your path in life, you and I will work together on creating your individualized plan that best meets your needs. Life can be hard, but by taking these first steps toward therapy, you are taking back control.

On a personal note…

I am originally from Nebraska, and love the city life. I enjoy sitting on my couch with a cozy blanket binge watching reality tv shows, spending quality time with my husband and son and taking our dog for walks. Becoming a mother has been the biggest blessing and I truly enjoy watching my son learn and grow. My go to self care is a trip to the nail salon every few weeks, I love getting fun colors and designs.
