I have worked with a wide variety of individuals, couples, and families in addition to providing clinical counseling services in long term care facilities and in home.  I enjoy working with individuals who are motivated to make positive changes in their lives. I strive to empower my clients to find and use their inner strengths in order to improve their lives and relationships. I take a holistic approach to partner with my clients to guide them down a healthy path.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I graduated from the Jane Addams College of Social Work with a Master of Social Work in 2008.  Much of my career prior to entering private practice was spent working in long term care.

I worked as a Social Services Director and later as Licensed Nursing Home Administrator.  In these leadership roles, I was involved in direct social work care as well as leadership and training.  I have worked with older adults and caregivers, helping them to navigate the difficulties of illness and caregiving. I provided education to staff regarding the life cycle and the changes and challenges accompanied with aging and increased need.

On a personal note…

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my children, extended family, and friends. I’m a true animal lover and I have five cats and a dog, Hazel.  I’m a big fan of live music and love to support local bands.
