“The good life is a process, not a state of being. It is a direction not a destination.” – Carl Rogers

I believe in working collaboratively with you to empower you on your journey to a good life. My focus: to create a safe, supportive environment where you feel comfortable expressing yourself. The therapeutic relationship is the foundation for growth and healing.

My therapeutic approach is rooted in empathy, collaboration, and evidence-based practices.  I believe in tailoring treatment to your unique needs, drawing from various modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness techniques, EMDR, Safe and Sound Protocol, and somatic (body-based) approaches.

With adolescents and adults, I employ a combination of talk therapy, cognitive restructuring, and skill-building strategies to promote insight, resilience, and personal growth. Together, we will work towards uncovering and rediscovering strengths, developing coping strategies, and fostering lasting positive change.

On a personal note…

I enjoy reading, watching movies, listening to music (e.g., ska, punk, jazz, alternative, etc.), going to the gym (to pretend to exercise and sometimes actually exercise). Additionally, I play acoustic guitar and electric bass guitar . . . but I claim no skill or proficiency in either instrument. There is risk, vulnerability, and humility in trying something new and being willing to “fail”.
