Sometimes life can feel overwhelming, as if something isn’t quite right. Reaching out for help is often the first step toward making sense of that. I approach therapy with the belief that people and their experiences are shaped by the meanings and expectations they hold about themselves, others, and the world. When something in life isn’t aligning, we can either shift how we understand it or work to change the situation itself. Often, meaningful change comes from exploring both.

My work is grounded in a narrative approach, which means I’m interested in how you understand your story, how it is affecting you, and how those perspectives might be expanded or reimagined. I also take a systemic view, recognizing that the different aspects of our lives are interconnected. Together, we can explore those connections and find ways to create change that feels right for you.

I have always known I wanted to help others, but it was my curiosity about people’s individuality and the way they think that led me to therapy. I am currently an intern in the Marriage and Family Therapy master’s program at Northern Illinois University, working under clinical supervision. I am committed to learning and growing alongside my clients while providing the best care possible.

On A Personal Note…

Outside of therapy, I’m someone who genuinely enjoys problem-solving and often gets lost in thought. I have a strong appreciation for puzzles and strategy games, both physical and digital. I’m also an avid collector of board games and trading cards of all kinds.

I enjoy going out to see new movies in theaters and trying new foods, though I’ll admit that once I find something I like, I tend to stick with it for a while. I value both quiet moments of reflection and new experiences, and I bring that same balance of curiosity and consistency into the work I do with others.
