Starting or continuing therapy can be a scary and uncertain time. I would be honored to help you navigate to the ever changing world that we live in. My goal is to create the environment in which you improve your well-being by identifying and changing troubling thoughts and behaviors, managing stress, strengthening relationships, and better understanding your emotions.

I am currently attending the Counselor Education program at Northeastern Illinois University to obtain a Masters of Arts, specializing in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. This program has provided me with knowledge of professional counseling orientation and ethical practice, social and cultural diversity and human growth and development. In working with me, we will co-create an individualized treatment plan utilizing therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive-Behavioral therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Narrative Therapy. I believe in the power of collaboration and strive to empower clients to build on their strengths and achieve meaningful change.

On a personal note

I am originally from Wisconsin and moved to the area to complete my graduate program. I enjoy any outdoor activity with my fiance and my Golden Retriever, Luffy. I am a traveler and enjoy learning about other cultures and their history. When not exploring my adventurous side, I like to spend time with my family and friends hosting a game night or food contest.
